Builders League of South Jersey Business Management Series

For immediate release

By popular demand, South Jersey construction attorney Robert J. Incollingo has been invited by the Builders League of South Jersey to give an encore presentation of his speech to local construction professionals on the topic of “Legal Requirements for Home Improvement Contracts” at the BLSJ’s next seminar in its Business Management Series, to be held at the League Office at 114 Haddontowne Court in Cherry Hill on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, from 6:00 pm – 7:00 p.m.

Even when a home improvement contract is as detailed as New Jersey law requires, disagreements between homeowners and contractors can still arise in the course of construction. If the contract fails to measure up to the dictates of the law, the contractor may have no right to enforce it, and will very likely be on the defending end of a consumer fraud counterclaim if he tries. This presentation gives the contractor – including those working in the licensed trades – the basics for compliance with the laws that govern home improvement.
