Residential Construction Seminar – Atlantic City

For immediate release

South Jersey construction attorney Robert J. Incollingo has been invited by the Builders League of South Jersey in cooperation with Universal Supply Company to speak to area construction professionals on the topic of “Legal Requirements for Home Improvement Contracts” at Universal Supply Company’s 31st annual Trade Show on Thursday, March 15, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Opal Room C of the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.

Even when a home improvement contract is as detailed as New Jersey law requires, disagreements between homeowners and contractors can still arise in the course of construction. If the contract fails to measure up to the dictates of the law, the contractor may have no right to enforce it, and will very likely be on the defending end of a consumer fraud counterclaim if he tries. This presentation gives the contractor – including those working in the licensed trades – the basics for compliance with the laws that govern home improvement.
